Belgrade in pictures

Belgrade is the capital and the largest city of Serbia. It is the fourth largest city in the Balkans, after Istanbul, Athens and Bucharest. It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.A magical picture, which everyone can admire from the Kalemegdan Park.
Belgrade was built by the Celts in the third century BC and that ranks it among the oldest European cities.
Obviously,Belgrade has a strong presence during the Ancient and Middle Ages as well as at the most significant moments of Modern History, like World War I and World War II.
This city suffered a lot during both Yugoslavia's breakup and NATO bombings in 1999.Finally,Serbia overcame all problems and Belgrade displays strong growth ever since.
It's interesting culture,it's friendly people and it's very good value for money make Belgrade a special destination. As for me,i was so impressed by it's  lifestyle,so my blog will host posts dedicated  to the city's best attractions and of course to the city's incredible nightlife.
